I draw inspiration from the coastal Carolinas with their breathtaking sunsets and ocean vistas. Varied media of metals, wood, paint, and photography form the palette of my interest. My formal education began at Atlantic Christian College (Barton) in Wilson, NC and culminated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from East Carolina University with a concentration in metalsmithing and art jewelry design. After graduation I settled in Columbia NC and began my career as an artist. My jewelry currently incorporates ocean motifs. The Surf and Sand line features jewelry with Sterling Silver and 14K Gold fill linear elements that represent the crashing waves on the beautiful beaches that line the coast.
